A report is a decision document
An essay argues. A report informs a decision. Readers look for an executive summary, a method they can trust, findings they can scan, and recommendations they can act on. If your first page is background theory, many readers never reach the result. Put the answer near the top, then show how you got there.
Match the report type
Lab reports usually follow aim, method, results, discussion, and conclusion. Business reports often use situation, analysis, options, and recommendation. Technical project reports mix a problem statement, constraints, implementation notes, and evaluation. Do not force an essay introduction onto a lab write-up. Use numbered headings, short paragraphs, and captions on every figure.
Make findings readable
Put numbers in tables. Put trends in a sentence: what increased, by how much, and compared with what. If a chart is decorative, delete it. If a chart is the finding, refer to it in the text (“Table 2 shows…”). Recommendations should be specific: who should do what, by when, and with what risk. Vague advice (“improve communication”) is not a recommendation.
What we produce on the report desk
AssignTech Solutions turns lab notes, project logs, or raw data into a structured report with an appendix of sources. Typical timing starts from 48 hours depending on length and data quality. You still own how the report is submitted or presented. Our job is to make the thinking easy to follow.
